The Hilo Pony 13s are getting ready to play in the PONY League Baseball state tournament, which runs Friday through June 30 at Waltor Victor Stadium.
On the team are Jaisten Cabatbat, Zachary Riveira, Kainalu Kahapea, Joey Jarneski, Chase Torngren, Nathan Minami, Dallas Duarte, Noah Kalaola, Isaiah Pagay, Kyran Kai, Kahale Huddleston, Aidan Ah Hee and David Nakamura.
The manager is Masa Pagay with assistant Stacey Jarneski and business manager Gayne Kobayashi.
The state tournament for the 9s division is scheduled for June 30-July 2 at Walter Victor Stadium. On the Hilo Mustang All-Stars are Aiden Shikuma, Mason Hirata, Dylan Honda, Carson Kawaguchi, Elijah Igawa, Spencer Yoshizumi Kayla Kodani, Kedren Kinzie, Makakoa Auwae, Dante Medeiros, Brock Malani, Keamalu Baclig and Dacen Hisashima. Head coach Shon Malani is joined by assistants Ronald Auwae, Grant Baclig and Ridge Hoopii-Haslam.
